Maureen was born into a ski boating family she grew up in Zululand and spent holidays fishing in places like Sodwana Bay, Cape Vidal, Mapelaan & St Lucia. She then married to Hans Dettman who has been in the boating industry since 1976 and has participated in most facets of boating from Yachting , to Game Fishing, Inflatable Racing & water skiing. Maureen started Durban Charter Boat Bookings about 5 years ago and it's grown into one of the most respected Booking Agents in Durban.
