how do I get there?
From JHB: on the R74, turn right at the Cathedral Peak Hotel sign. After 16km, right to Cathedral Peak. 31km to Cathedral Peak. Drakens-Berg Quads operate from the Golf Course.
time period
The rides are 40 - 60 minutes long. The rides can be combined with a stop at Lake William for fly-fishing, birdwatching or a picnic.
vital information
A short lesson for those who are inexperienced riders can easily be arranged. We provide goggles and helmets.
Weather
Raincoats are advisable for those rainy days. But please take note that your safety is a priority for us, and we reserve the right to cancel or postpone a trip should the guide decide that conditions are dangerous.
Participants
Anyone over the age of 12 years may ride a quad on his/her own. For safety reasons, we require a child under the age of 12 to be accompanied by an adult.
Spectators
Spectators are more than welcome to sit back and relax at the golf clubhouse. Refreshments are available from the bar at the clubhouse. All are welcome!
Availability
It is not necessary to pre-book. But it is a better idea to phone ahead to avoid disappointment.
