how do I get there?

The centre is located approx 1km outside Dullstroom on the Belfast / Dullstroom road, on your right hand side just before entering Dullstroom from Belfast. Turn right at the Kruisfontein dirt road and right again approx one hundred metres down this road. It is well sign posted.

Your day with the Birds of Prey in Dullstroom

Here at Dullstroom Bird of Prey & Rehabilitation Centre, we give you the chance to get up close and personal with some of our birds. Join us for a handling experience where you get a chance to fly some of our birds, and handle others. Some of the birds that we fly include falcons, owls and eagles. You may even be able to help with feeding some of our baby birds that have come in to the hospital, or that we have bred ourselves.

On the day, we will also teach you a little about the noble art of falconry, and at a later date if you wish you can accompany us on another experience day when we go out with the hawks and falcons, and the pointing dogs showing you what the birds do best, catch their own food.

What to bring to Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre

We obviously supply the birds and their food on this experience, all we need from you, is you, some sturdy walking shoes, sun tan lotion, a camera to get photos of birds and don't forget your sense of humour as some of our jokes are a bit corny.

Donations are welcome for Bird of Prey Rehabilitation Program

All the money that comes in from this experience goes towards the up keep of the rehabilitation centre, a very expensive project that is supported solely by the public.
