Flyfishing is a top attraction. Elandskloof Trout Farm has 11 dams, the largest being 8 hectares in size. These are regularly stocked up from our own hatcheries. Beyond a two per bag limit for each fly fisherman we practice the catch and release principle.

Flotation tubes are allowed on the biggest dams.

Wildlife lovers will be thrilled to know we have 800 head of game on this pristine farm. The rare Mountain Zebra will make an exciting spotting. We also have some of the endangered Oribi as well as predators like the Caracal, Hyena and Jackal. For the patient a sighting of the elusive Otter along the riverside will be a great reward.

Game drives are available and at night if the weather is good you can combine this with some milky way appreciation.

Mountain biking, bird watching and long walks are to be enjoyed.

You will be very comfortable in a cottage for two, a bungalow which sleeps three, a luxurious chalet or wooden cottage for six or in the house which can sleep 11 people. Some feature a fireplace or coal stove and all have mountain views.

These are all self-catering units for your leisure.

For the tough and adventurous we also have campsites in a lovely setting. Camping is a popular family holiday option that frees up money for other fun adventures. You can choose to be under the trees or by the dam. Plug points are available as well as ice and firewood. There is hot water in the ablutions and also for washing up after your meals.

A natural spring heats our indoor swimming pool so you can delight in a warm splash all year around.

We also have a great restaurant with a playground which boasts vintage farm equipment to keep your little boisterous ones fascinated.We encourage children to also get involved in the daily feeding of the animals on the farm.

Weddings and conference for up to 180 guests have been a huge success. Our chef has experience working in fine hotels.
